During the pandemic, I thought a music streaming app that allows you to chat with people inside the app would be a good way to interact with people.
The biggest takeaways from this project is that I was able to learn how to work within the constraints of an existing product and design within an existing design system, especially when it is familiar to users. This led me to build my own design system instead of following the existing system while maintaining the original brand identity.
Based on my research, I discovered that not many apps have native chat features. Having never designed a chat screen ina music app before, I had a lot of fun designing it.
